If you’ve been regularly checking in and looking for fresh examples of my writing to ridicule, and calling me lazy because I fail to provide you with targets for your withering scorn – it’s your lucky day!
For the last couple of months I’ve also been writing in other places, namely….

At EcoSalon, writing an 8-part series on:
- The Mekong drought
- That pesky volcano up north
- The recent attempts to clean up Everest
- The U.S.’s first coastal offshore windfarm
- A billion baby turtles
- Bill Gates wanting the clouds whiter
- The colossal Boreal Forest of Canada
- and how humans turned the Aral Sea into the Aral desert in just 40 years.

And while all sorts of nice folk were guest-posting in here, I was writing for them about…
And you could also find me over at Nerds Eye View, listening to the North York Moors.
See? Not lazy. So, fire away.

It was nice of you to drop in for a visit.
Very much back atcha.
Your hard works will definitely be paid off one day. Thanks again for your great articles about Athens in my blog.
A pleasure, Cecil. And likewise for your piece in here!
ditto to pam
Ditto your ditto.
Whoever, if you ditto my ditto-ditto, I’m pulling the plug on this thread. Because we’d be skirting madness.
Hm, I feel I should balance all these nice comments up with some withering scorn…
*grits teeth*
Go on. If you think you’re HARD enough. Nya nya NYA.
Wow, you’ve been busy!
Applying the word “busy” to my lifestyle is an impressive feat of the imagination. Even Tolkien would blanche at such a challenge.
What about Robert Jordan?
Putting it bluntly, Robert Jordan is unlikely to blanche at anything these days.
But in his heyday, yes, he was a busy one. Although arguably he had the same quantity of ideas as authors who produced a tenth of his output. Ahem.
Hehehehehe……..
Completely off topic (and you may hate me for this): have you heard of/read Steven Pinker’s book ‘The Stuff of Thought – Language as a Window into Human Nature’?
I think you might enjoy it.
Wondrous writing. Greatly enjoyed your ecosalon series and happy to have discovered you on the wonderful web.
