"Questions are how you learn things about people, but theyre also how to
get those people in the right frame of mind to help."" - This is very true. I am the type of person who loves to ask questions, but only
the sensible ones. I agree that without questions, conversations wilt. I think,
a good conversation really starts with good questions. "

Blimey. That's praise indeed. Thank you!

I've got part 3 pegged for a fortnight from today (but there will be other things posted between now and then)...

Thanks for reading, Sophie.

You're a better man than I. I could never master Latin conjugations, and that back-of-the-throat warble that Wookies do is something I've always found a real sod.
I bow to your linguistic excellence. *bows*

Standing around and looking lost is indeed fraught with danger. So I reckon it's a good idea to only look lost when you're not, and to not look lost when you are. Or, failing that, to be heavily armed at all times. Something unambiguous, like a blood-caked claymore casually rested on during conversation. Tends to sort out the genuines from the timewasters, I find.

Excellent Bryson-analysis! (Laughed almost as much as I laugh when reading his books).

Also, great series - can't wait for the next installment, esp. the Represent your country-bit.
