Tell you what – here’s a poem by Spike Milligan:

There are holes in the sky

Where the rain gets in

They’re not very big

That’s why rain is thin.

There you go. A not entirely wasted click.

    Speaking of rain … here is one I learnt as a kid:

    The rain it raineth every day
    Upon the just and unjust fella.
    But more upon the just because
    the unjust has the just’s umbrella

    (attributed to Lord Bowen apparently)
